Our guide teresa did a great job sharing the history of Charlotte as we walked and visited some impressive places to eat. We started at the market and had some bubbly wine and a little bit of dessert which was great. Then we went to Queen city barbecue. they give you barbecue with little bit of slaw and then you... A nice afternoon! We LOVED our guide (Sarah) and all the food we tasted was fantastic. But keeping in mind that I'm a former travel agent, here is the full critique - with nothing left out. Starting out our afternoon was at the 7th St Public market with three shops. -Assorted Table Wine Shop got 5 stars from me for... More

I was super excited to do this tour as we have never done a food tour before. It was good, but not as good as I had read on previous reviews. Our tour guide, Margie, was very nice and friendly. We started with 3 places in the Public Market area. As we left the market area, our first stop was... More

We had a great time on the uptown Charlotte tour de food with John as our guide. Not only was he extremely knowledgable about food, but we had a great history lesson about Charlotte as well. All the restaurants we went to were delicious and we were greeted by chefs and others who briefed is on what we were about... More

Lots of fun! Great food at all the stops. We went back the next day to Queen City BBQ. Great food and amazing selection of local brews. Went back at the end of the tour to buy wines and Italian specialties we had sampled at 7th street station. Nice way to get to know Charlotte and some great restaurants.

We spent a lovely afternoon yesterday (husband and two young adult children) taking the Uptown Charlotte Tour de Food with Teresa. We had a great time sampling tasty treats from some restaurants we've never been to before. Although we've lived here for 27+ years, we learned a few new things about Charlotte as well. None of the food was bad... More

Went on the Uptown tour with Sarah. Everything we tried was delicious and ample portions were provided. Sarah was an excellent guide who told us about Charlotte's history as we walked from restaurant to restaurant. The walk totaled 2 miles but did not feel long at all. Highly recommend this tour!
