Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center is indeed a beautiful theater. Seating options include Orchestra, Grand Tier, Mezzanine, and Balcony 1 & 2. My standards are to sit front orchestra or grand tier. Plays are best seen from grand tier on up. This allows...More

A terrific small theater in Founders Hall in uptown Charlotte. It's a cozy size with barely a bad seat in the house. They get some very good, entertaining shows. We saw Charlotte Squawks there recently and First Date in the fall. Go and have fun!

Blumenthal is a beautiful performing arts center. I've had the pleasure of attending several events there including a jazz concert where the sound system was excellent, which made for a very enjoyable evening. Treat yourself to a event here, it will be a wonderful experience.

I am a season ticket holder for the Blumenthal Performing Arts. Each performance is amazing; and the staff are the most helpful of any theatre I've attended. This Season looks like another fantastic series. There are great places to eat within the Blumenthal Performance Arts...More

We have attended several types of live performances at this arts center. Seating and sound quality are geneally good, not great. Ladies room is very attractive and large. Lines for beverages can be long for the popular events.

Had a wonderful Saturday night attending the Charlotte Symphony concert. It was absolutely great. The director was stunning. The staff was very attentive for you every need. Will purchase tickets for next season. Our seats were great.

We had a wonderful time and were able to expose our young children to the orchestra. Our seats were front row, which did make it a little difficult to see the screen, but we really got to see the instruments up close. Great experience for...More

I saw two performances at the Blumenthal Performing Arts center. The first was at the smaller Booth Theater and the second at the large Belk theater. Both had a lot of ushers, more than I've seen at other performing arts centers. Everyone was really friendly...More

My husband and I have tickets for this Thursday evening. We are in town for the night as a stopover on our way to a Caribbean vacation. We are trying to pack extremely light and I was wondering what the dress code was for this venue?
