This was our second visit since last year and offered totally different exhibitions. All were excellent with different themes and a wide and varying representation of African-American art and artists. On this visit, the gift shop was being re-stocked, but the young woman at the...More

Nice gallery with informative and unique exhibits, $9 entry per adult. If you prefer more interactive art this isn't the best gallery but it's still nice!

It's not exactly what I expected, I think I expect more but overall this was a very nice gallery. Great work up on the walls. Just expected to see more history paintings or artifacts. The staff was freely. Very nice visit!

I took my cousins here when they visited from out of town. A beautiful facility and we enjoyed the exhibits. I also learned that there are EVENTS at this location. It's not likely I'll attend any since I only go downtown when family is visiting....More

This was not what I was expecting, but interesting none the less. Some of it was not to my taste and some I found fascinating. It is a small place and does not take long to wander around.

We expected to experience more of a history museum. There was basically only 2.5 rooms with art. The art was there, but not much culture was there. Given the location and the city, we were expecting more history. It was otherwise a big building with...More

We visited this center mainly to see the paintings of a particular painter who was a student of my daughter. We saw many other paintings. We were really impressed.

Only in town for one night and choose to spend our time at this gallery and feast upon its exhibitions. A very thought provoking collection. The use of the various media displays the anything can be art and considered artful. I choose to photograph some...More

This is a nice museum with well curated galleries. There was room for reflection and enough places to sit. The gift shop was filled with compelling pieces as well. I will be going to visit again.
