I've been to Carowinds over the years and it's a nice park. Top-notch attractions, clean, and a cool place to watch the children and grandchildren have fun. I know that amusement parks have to make money to stay in business. From admission tickets to food vending to hosting events, if they don't remain profitable then they don't remain open. However,... We went over a weekend and surprisingly it was not crowded at all. We really enjoyed the cleanliness of the park as well as the many rides and coasters for enthusiasts such as ourselves that tend to gravitate towards thrill rides. It was a sunny day so we a lot of riding in the various areas of the park. My... More

All top notch rides for all ages. Kids love it more than me for I can't ride them like I used to. The Fury is a really scary but fun ride. I must see!

I went during the 4th of July and surprisingly it was not crowded at all. I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the park as well as the many areas to sit for parents such as myself that tend to not ride much. It was an overcast so I did not go to the waterpark but I think it is an... More

Absolutely do not waste your time going to carowinds during scarowinds. I just spent $92.00 each ticket with the freight lane pass which I purchased online to assure I would get them. The park will not let you into scarowinds until 7:00 PM as that is when scarowinds begins nightly. The only way to curb the 7:00 PM start time... More

Scarowinds aka Carowinds is just okay if your teens just want to walk around and hang out, but as a chaperone of (5) 14 year olds, it wasn't worth the $53 I had to pay - just to supervise - didn't ride a single ride. Carowinds needs to be more family friendly. Just as they issue wrist bracelets for those... More

Very expensive to have to stand in line for over an hour to ride the rides. They oversold on Saturday October 17th. The park opened at 7 & closed at 12. We rode 3 roller coasters then it was time to go because the park was closing! It cost $104.00 to get in + $30.00 for 2 drinks, chicken fingers... More
