Biked it a few times whenever in town. Watch out for children, they tend get loose and are unpredictable. Announce your presence to walkers. Most of the trail traverses the creek Stop at Freedom Park for some rest and relaxation. However, I lose site of...More

This paved trail is wide enough for walking and cycling. There are many sights along the way including art work. Many restaurants are near the seventh street httail head.

Lovely green space in the city. So quiet and a nice place to walk. Not too crowded most days! Lots of nice art too!

Beautiful little parkway for walking or bicycling, easy to get to from city center. Nature education stops along the parkway Captain Jack statute just off the parkway at King and 4th. Beautifiul old brick chapel across the street from it

Whether you are working out or just hanging out with your family, you will find plenty to do. I really enjoyed our time together and this greenway. I can't wait to do some training runs here.

The Greenway actually goes beyond East Morehead to East Blvd. and then through Freedom Park (continuing after that on a street). The creek is major storm water drainage channel and collects a fair amount of trash. The narrow path is open to both cyclists and...More
