I have attended many athletic events at BOA and have never been disappointed with the staff or atmosphere. I always feel safe and secure when attending events here. It is an awesome stadium and a great home for the Carolina Panthers! #KeepPounding
First time for the ACC Championship Game, stadium did seem nice but it was pouring the whole time which made it harder to tell. Had a good variety of food and drinks, and hallways were large so it didn't feel crowded. I will echo a...More
It was a rainy and somewhat miserable night. I was fortunate to have Club Level seats which were covered, and the Club Level amenities are quite nice. There is ample staff available for questions and they are all very well trained and friendly. The food...More
Awesome stadium - first time in the building to watch the ACC Championship game Clemson vs Pittsburgh. Great win for the Tigers - ACC Champs - Clemson defeated Pitt, 42-10, to claim its fourth straight ACC Title

First time attending a football game here, we loved that its right downtown and walking distance from our hotel. Lots of festivities going on outside the stadium, lots of entertainment going on inside the stadium. IT was fast and easy to get in, fast and...More
This is actually one of the nicer stadiums I have been at. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Plenty of food options. Plenty of facilities. And they open up the club level after the game so you can go in and watch the...More
We got our tickets last minute, so we ended up sitting in what they call the nose bleed section. The thing is that we could see everything just as good as if we had been right in front. It was awesome. Can't wait to get...More
My husband and I flew in from Houston, TX to watch the battle between Cam Newton and Jameis Winston but JW was benched! But it was still a great game. We stayed at a hotel near the airport and the hotel shuttle took us to...More
Of all the football stadiums I have been to this is my favorite. It is more steep than most so the entire field is visible from any seat. The jumbotrons are great for replays and are easily seen from anywhere. Bring your wallet! Food and...More

There are quite a few nice museums in uptown Charlotte that are walking distance form most uptown hotels. The Gantt African-American art museum, The Museum of the New South (history), the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, and the uptown branch of the Mint Museum (art) are some good ones to start with. There is also the NASCAR Hall of Fame (it's a bit like a museum with some interactive stuff). If the weather is cooperative you could visit Romare Bearden Park. Or you could take a waking or Segway...More

Bank of America Stadium (2 Replies)
Hey all. Will be in town for a soccer game tomorrow at the Bank of America. Was wondering how the area around the stadium is? It seems like there a ton of parking lots to park, but is it safe to park in any of those and walk to the stadium? Any certain area/streets I should avoid? Also, is there any place for a quick lunch (Five Guys, Chipotle, etc.) closeby the stadium? Thanks in advance

It's pretty safe area all around the stadium so I wouldn't worry about parking that much. As far as where to eat, it really depends on where you park. If you decide on the the parking garage on Graham / Mint, I'd take a short walk over to Valhalla pub. Great cold beer and pub food. There's pretty much anything you want in uptown around Tryon street (including 5 Guys) but it is a bit further of a walk.

Monday Morning Traffic (1 Replies)
Hello, Later this month i'll be travelling from Bank of America stadium (or 500yds from there) to the airport, we're flying at 10am and will be leaving for the airport to get there 90 minutes at the latest prior to our flight and wondered what time rush hour kicks in on a Monday morning as I believe we need to go on the 77 which i see mentioned as being a hotspot. In the UK Monday mornings are perhaps the worst for travelling and you can be stuck in traffic at 6:30am (on my commute...More

You will not need to get on 77 to get to the airport. You go straight down Wilkinson Blvd ( U.S. 74). Rush hour from the west is in full swing between 6:30 and 7 and flows busily until about 9:00. But, most is come into town, not going out. Leave two hours ahead and barring a wreck, you'll get to the airport in 20 minutes or so.
