Cool statue

This statue is like a rubix cube of sorts, changing directions and levels to become a face. We thought it was cool.

It was a cool sculpture. It was constantly moving while we were there but it never formed the head. The fountain was running which was nice. There isn't much in the area to see so it isn't worth making a trip just to see it.

I work in the office park complex where it's located, but I wouldn't recommend to visitors to go out of their way to look at it. If you are in the Ayrsley area, it wouldn't hurt to drive a mile up the road to see it, but it isn't a tourist attraction. However, more food trucks are stopping by during... More

We were close by and did a quick stop. The teens like water and running around. So, perfect. Also, office building has water fountain and bathroom open to visitors. My son says it's also a Pokemon Gym.

This site was worth visiting, just to hear my GPS say, "Arrived at Me-tal-mor-pho-sis, giant head." Very cool thing, in the middle of some sort of office park.

This guy is great! Not worth the drive, but if already in the area... go for it. Makes for a super pic.

This sculpture is in the Whitehall Commons complex of buildings at the #3 Arrowood Exit off I-485.The head is in a fountain and the setting is quite peaceful. Even my 8 year old niece loved it and wanted to stay and watch the face form by the rotating disks over and over.

Seems like every time you visit there is something different. Last time I visited the head wasn't rotating very well, one section was stuck, but it was spitting water. This time it didn't seem to be doing anything at all when we first arrived, but after five minutes or so it started spinning - quite fast at times, so that... More

After learning about this via a video from Charlotte Stories, we decided we needed to make a quick trip to see the sculpture. So glad we did. What's not to like about an apolitical, 14-ton rotating reflective head over a pool of water?
