Group outing with our pups!

We took our work family (dogs included) on the Howl at the Moon Tour and it was such a great experience. Some of the people and some of the dogs had never been on a kayak before so we were a lil worried but it all turned out great. David and his team were very accommodating, they made sure everyone was comfortable, safe and enjoying the tour. The process was really easy and the Happy Tails team were amazing.

Thanks for an awesome night! Looking forward to trying out the other adventures with our dogs.

AWESOME tour with our dogs!!

My husband, myself and our two Aussies had a blast being part of David & Claudia's inaugural trip to Pilot Mountain! We did a beautiful, yet challenging, hike then followed up with two wine tastings at two different wineries. The best thing about this day is that I didn't have to plan a THING. Happy Tails did it all for us! We just showed up and had a blast. David & Claudia are the most genuine, down to earth people you will ever meet. It felt like we were hanging out and exploring with friends that we had known for a long time. My husband has hung out with David, along with our dogs and his multiple times since the tour.

We can't wait to plan our next Happy Tails Tour with these gracious hosts! Book a tour NOW! You will be so happy you did!

My friends and I went on a hiking and winery tour with Happy Tails Tours and we all brought our pups. Taking tours with your dogs is a great concept that is executed perfectly by the owners and guides David and Claudia. I can’t wait to try one of their full moon kayak and SUP tours.

Great experience with my dog

Happy Tails Tours is amazing. My pup and I had an awesome time hiking and doing wine tastings at various wineries. Not having to plan things myself and being able to bring my pup with was fantastic. An amazing company with phenomenal people at the helm. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Wonderful way to adventure with your pups and meet great people!

We were honored to be a part of David and Claudia’s inaugural trip! We went for a great hike on Pilot Mountain, and then visited wineries in Yadkin Valley that were not just dog-friendly, but dog-enthusiastic! Happy Tails arranged it all! All we had to do was show up, and have fun with our pup and great people.

Though it was our first time meeting David and Claudia, we left feeling like we knew them. They are amazingly genuine, hospitable, warm people that made us feel like we were on a trip with old friends. I feel compelled to note that my husband and I are both vegan, and David and Claudia went out of their way to make sure we had veggie subs and homemade sautéed tofu and tempeh-which was delicious! So accommodating and thoughtful!

You will not regret embarking on an adventure with Happy Tails, and we look forward to our next!

The Fox: Hiking and Wine Tasting Tour

David took a group of us up to Pilot Mountain for a hike with our dogs followed by some wine tasting at some dog friendly wineries. He was very attentive to our needs. He provided snacks, water and lunch. He made sure we enjoyed ourselves and took care of everything. If you want a nice day out with your pups, this is the way to go

We loved our kayak adventure with David and his team! They made the experience even more fun than expected. They provided snacks and drinks throughout our journey and made each stop exciting. They were patient and helpful as we learned to kayak and provided advice on what to do if we wanted to kayak in the future. A great experience overall for humans and dogs alike!

Fullmoon kayak tour

The tour was a lot of fun! We were able to kayak up the Catawba River in the moonlight and enjoy the quiet and serene landscape. Tours duration was good and David, the tour guide, was knowledgeable and well versed in the territory. He is also well travelled, so i enjoyed the stories he had from all over the world.

Quality time with your pup

I took my dog Rogue on the Howl at the Moon Tour and it was an awesome experience. The water is so calm at night and you really feel in tune with nature on this tour. It was a great way for me to get my dog to get comfortable being around water. In the beginning she had no interest in water and by the end of the night she was jumping on to some of the tour guides stand up paddle boards. The guides are nice and friendly and it really is a bang for your buck for what you get in return. I highly recommend

Rogue and Mason, So glad that you were able to join us and both got so much out of the experience. So often people are concerned about how their dog will react with other dogs or if they will be ok in the Kayak. But our experience is that most all dogs take to it pretty quickly and as long as we're patient, they love it. Such a fun adventure!

We had a wonderful time on our full moon tour! As first-time kayakers, the tour guides helped us all along the way and were kind even when our pup got a little too excited. Our pup had so much fun meeting everyone and getting out on the river and swimming for his first time ever. He was exhausted after we got back home and was still worn out the next day because of all the fun! I definitely recommend this tour for anyone, experienced kayaker or not, especially if you have an adventurous dog, although you could go on the tour without a dog and play with everyone else’s! If you have the chance, go on this wonderful tour!
