The Convention Center was ideal for the Firefighters convention held in August. From the mapped setup of tables to the actual fire trucks that were on the floor, the center displayed the firefighters material in a splendid way. Also, there was reasonably-priced food available inside the Center. No need to venture into town.

I attended a business conference for 4 days. The facility was very well maintained, the staff super helpful and friendly, and once I got used to where everything was found it very easy to navigate. The food court offered acceptable options and there were plenty of places to relax.

I visited here for conference. I like this place. Also you will be interested in NASCAR hall of fame. It is just next to here.

Right in Center City, huge venue. Fortunately lots of escalators and elevators to help people get around. Very clean & modern. Reception & Banquet facilities were good.

I'm more used to larger convention centers, but for the factors that matter, such as quality of meeting spaces, navigability, cleanliness and audio/video availibility, it hit all the right marks.

If you are in a position to choose a venue for any group of 2000 or less go anywhere but the Charlotte Convention Center. Almost no directional signs and be prepared to be going up and down escalators, down long hall ways and almost no one to ask where you are and where you need to go. Very few locations... More

Every year I eagerly look forward to that weekend in June when I get to converge on the massive Charlotte Convention Center for the annual HeroesCon. One of the largest non-media, pure comic book shoes in the US, the Convention Center is more than adequate to handle the large mass of artists, dealers, comic fans and cosplayers. The center is... I was here for a conference and experienced the large halls and the breakout rooms. In all case the chairs were comfortable, the screen was big, and most importantly, I could see the screen and hear the presenter clearly. The public space is nicely appointed and well lit. The location is perfect to the hotels and the nightlife of the... More

I liked the location of this convention center, as compared to many in the country that I've been to over the years. There is a lot to do around the convention center, within walking distance, in the evening. The only oddity was that the upper floor is divided by the train track. If you're in a smaller room on one... More
