Charlotte's #1 escape room, Exit Strategy is the original escape room business in the Southeast, and the most immersive! Boasting 12 uniquely-themed experiences across 2 locations (North and South) in Charlotte. Sixty minutes may sound like a lot of time, until the pressure of cracking clues and solving puzzles intensifies with each passing second. Escape requires keen problem-solving skills and collaboration, perfect for groups of two to ten people (depending on the room). Each uncovered clue places teams one step closer to achieving their ultimate goal: unlocking the door and escaping the room before the clock strikes zero. Success may earn the group a place on Exit Strategy's wall of fame, although failure may inspire a repeat visit to try again.

We had the BEST experience at Exit Strategy North! Very immersive, hands on escape room! Our guide Corey was the best! Stayed in character the whole time - supported our quest by giving helpful but not too obvious clues. Travelled through many rooms! Very challenging but attainable. Such a fun time…will be back for sure!

Went to do Subject Zero as a last minute thing. Game Master Christine was great in her role of team leader as she briefed us then sent us off. We had a great time, and got out. Thanks to the experts in our group. If not for them I’d still be there. The room was challenging and fun. I highly recommend Exit Strategy North!

We had SUCH a fun time at Exit Strategy! This was the best escape room I have ever been to. The puzzles were fun (and there were tons of them), and Rachel and Elana, our hosts, were awesome! All hints were given in-character, which was a nice addition. Will definitely be going back!

We recently visited Exit Strategy North and tried The Mansion. There were three in my party and none of us had ever done an escape room before. We LOVED the Mansion and our Game Master Taylor. Christine, our Butler, did a fabulous job welcoming us to The Mansion. With a little help from a few clues from Taylor, we did manage to escape with 45 seconds to go! I was glad the clues didn't give the solution to the current problem outright, they just guided us in the right direction. We still had to figure it our for ourselves. We were so very giddy since we had so much fun, that we ended up booking another room for later that night. We went out for a bite to eat and returned to try The Ruins. We needed a bit more help in The Ruins, but still made it out with a little over a minute to go. Both rooms were extremely well done, but we enjoyed the whole experience of The Mansion a little better. I'd highly recommend giving Exit Strategy North a try. We look forward to trying another room, upon a return trip to the area.

We had so much fun at Exit Strategy North! The room we did was very well decorated and put together. Our gamemaster Hunter and our actor Elana were super engaging and fun! They were both well dressed for work and they stayed in character. We definitely had a five star experience at Exit Strategy and took home lots of memories.

I came here on a Friday with a group of 7 other people. We did the Mansion puzzle room and I was impressed with the level of detail in the decorations. The room did not have as many physical puzzles as it did word ones, but overall that was fine. It was challenging but doable and we had a fun time. Our hosts Kelly and Christine were also great!

I have been to Exit Strategy North 2 time already, we had a lot of fan both times, the rooms are challenging but super fun, we have tried the 2 least complicated ones, we will try the next that is supposed to be tougher, hopefully we can get out with just a couple of clues. I fully recommend this place, the staff is very professional and respectful.

We had an awesome time in Spy training room and we escaped!! The room was challenging and fun. The staff was great and very helpful. A special shoutout to Agent Kelly who made our experience even better!!!! Thank you and we will be coming back!

It was an awesome experience! We have now been to 2 rooms and both were very different but lots of fun. Our host Aaron was very helpful and played the part very well. We are addicted!
