We took yearly membership for both nature and science for a year. We have yet to visit nature one. Science center is a nice little place for kids. It’s smaller than some of the other I visited and can be covered in 2-3 hours. Some...More

Our middle schooler and friends had a great time at DP. Their top 3 per them: running like a hamster in the wheel, learning about all of the aquarium fish, building with the blocks. Really cool science center!

We were there on a holiday Thursday and the museum was packed. Most of the exhibits were mechanical in nature and cleverly done. Didn't hear any lectures but we found the bug house exhibit from New Zealand worth the price of admission. The docent there...More

Went here yesterday and when we paid for our tickets we were told there were about 500 people in groups inside. It didn’t even seem like it - for a holiday week (thanksgiving week) it was reasonably empty. The place is great! Staff friendly and...More

You can easily spend 2-2.5 hours just at the museum. There are several kid friendly restaurants nearby the museum too.
