We went here today with our two kids ages 2 and 4 while staying the day on our way to Myrtle Beach. We loved it, the kids had a blast and napped all the way back to the hotel! Really enjoyed the science show, experiment room and the rubix cube room

Great place for the family. It has been renovated over the last couple of years. Lots for the kids to see and do. Adults too! We particularly like the rain forest. Good souvenir store for the young shoppers (like our granddaughters!). Revolving displays / attractions keep things fresh.

We bought tickets online for the show National Parks Adventure and I was not disappointed. Not only is the show absolutely outstanding, with some of the best views you can ever hope to see, without being able to fly yourself...but the quality of the theatre itself is first rate. They not only have the large screen, but the domes ceiling,... More

My children and I went last week and we had a blast. We spent almost five hours there, including lunch and a short 3d movie. There is something for all age groups. You can really interact and get up close with different aquatic life and insects. There are lots of hands on activities and presentations for children. My kids really... More

We took granddaughters, 3 & 6, for a July visit. Even with the large crowd [numerous camp groups?], we had an easy and most enjoyable time. The age-specific activities were numerous and challenging and both children wanted to do them over & over. It was a good way to spend the morning -- even if the charges for adults seemed... More

This place is awesome! Great for kids. I have been in this type of Discovery Center in several cities and this is the best one I've seen. Plenty of hands on and interactive activities. I saw some little baby quail hatched out of its egg and a live science exhibit. They also have an imax theater. This is just awesome... More

The Rubik's cube exhibit is really wonderful. I wish the groups of kids were under better control but such is life. Seems to be a good place for kids up to about age 12 or so from what I could tell.

My 9 year old son enjoyed watching the robot complete the rubics cube, the sound experiments and the aquarium. The IMAX is a must see also, for the kids and the parents.
