Wing Haven Garden is a lovely serene place in the middle of busy Charlotte. I visit often and enjoy having family and friends visit with me. Often people say can we go to Wing Haven again when we are in Charlotte. It's a place of love created by a couple who loved each other and had a love of birds... More

This place is so quaint and beautiful - like something out of a classic novel! I had a bridal luncheon here, and we were in awe of the beauty of the gardens. This is a great place to stop by for a walk through or to host an event.

It was my pleasure to know Mr. and Mrs. Clarkson, and a special treat to help out now and then with school groups that came to learn about what lovely creatures live in our midst.

Wing Haven is a treasure. The gardens and fountains are absolutely beautiful, and so unique in an urban neighborhood setting.

One of our favorite things to do in Charlotte. Wing Haven is a nature lovers paradise. Wonderful history and beautifully maintained. Walk the paths of this quaint garden and forget your troubles. They offer tours and specialty garden classes as well.

My daughter is a volunteer at Wing Haven (she takes care of the chickens on weekends), and I visited with her yesterday many years after I was there last. I was struck again by the quiet beauty of this sweet spot, and delighted by some of the new additions. The children's garden (including vegetables and the chicken's coop), is an... More

A very beautiful and serene outing in a quiet residential neighborhood. The original owners made determined steps to preserve and enhance the natural wonders of the flora and birds. Make time to see this jewel!

Moved to Charlotte in 1993 and have been to Wing Haven several times. What the Clarksons built really is something quite special. My favorite part was enjoying the aromatic gingers in one of the gardens. This place is small enough to cover in an hour or so; a pleasant surprise tucked into the Myers Park neighborhood.

Went there last summer for my birthday.....what a beautiful place. The gardens were in full bloom, with the scent of fresh flowers everywhere, and the ponds were so relaxing. Would love to visit for all seasons.
