Only reason I gave this a 3 is because it is currently under construction. There is one hallway downstairs that is open, other wise closed. To go downstairs is free, there are shows I am guessing inside the actual planetarium. Look on their website for the days and times of shows. The average cost of those tickets was $8.50. The sundial in the front is really cool to see as well. Learned a fun fact about "moon germs" while there and a quarantine for 21 days. For a little hallway it had some fun facts. Looking forward to going back once renovation is complete.

Went to see the Longest Night show, interesting presentation. But that’s all nothing else to do or see.

It's so awesome having such an historic site on campus. Space exploration is so real visiting this place.

Having heard so much about the shows here, I couldn’t wait to see “The Black Hole”. We all went in and sat about half way down the rows. Seats were comfortable and slightly reclined. However, when the show started, it was impossible to see it as most of the show was directly above us. That meant to actually see what was going on, we had to sit forward and then tilt our heads back. Talk about uncomfortable! Everyone in our party had a major neck ache by the time it was over. The show itself was interesting but hard to concentrate on considering the awkward seating conditions. Would not go to another show there again. The gift shop was nice with interesting space related items and other things to do with science. We bought several things there. Parking was not an issue, either. But for a newly renovated theater, they did a poor job.

We went there today. The Planetarium and Science center are under renovation. Nowhere is it mentioned until you get there and see all the construction, that it is under renovation. We only have a limited amount of time to visit and to waste time driving there, looking for parking and then walking to the planetarium only to be told it is under renovation isn't a thoughtful way to conduct business. I didn't see any notices on their website about the renovation, Parking is several blocks away, the parking attendant at the planetarium, should have told us that the planetarium was under renovation, instead he directed us to a lot several blocks away.
