I met my BFF to window shop and lunch. We always have a great time together. There was a lot of shopping and eating Choices.

When in the Cary area, this is a great go to place to shop. Nice shopping mall with upscale shopping with the usual big name stores.

We visited this mall and it was a brief trip. There are traditional stores like Belk, Penney's, Dillard's and bath and body. It was not bad but there was no comparison to Crabtree valley mall. I would recommend just to have another experience in shopping in the area. There is a food court if you are hungry.

Bottom Line: I feel obligated to tell visitors that Cary Towne Center isn't a good representation of the Triangle Area Shopping. I wouldn't recommend this place for a casual shopping spree or hang out (unless you are going to Dave and Buster's). If you want good shopping, or simply want to walk around, go to Crabtree Valley Mall (12 mins away) or Southpoint (16 mins away). Cary Towne Center was one of the first malls I went to when I moved to the area. It had a decent selection of stores such as Macy's, Express, etc. Currently, there really isn't much other than the Dave and Buster's. Sure it has Belk, but it isn't as nice as the one at Crabtree. Given the thumbs down on this place, I will say that I am excited to see what the redevelopment will be like.

Cary Towne Center has declined like all malls in the Internet age but it’s still a nice place to wander around eclectic shops. Once the anchors bail it doesn’t seem right to call it a mall.
