Shoppers follow a one way path. Good social distancing. Lots of places to wash hands and use sanitizer. Everyone masked.
A lovely experience with lots of baked goods, flowers, etc to choose from.

This was a delightful positive experience during the pandemic. And the sweet potato donuts were made on site and were delicious.

This is a great place to get organic veggies, eggs and meat. We go there from spring through the fall.

It is gratifying to support local farmers and crafts people. They have everything from fresh meat and eggs to vegetables, herbs and fruit to fresh flowers to decorate the table. Everything is delicious and it is a fun time to mingle with the people.

prices were higher than I hoped for but they had a nice selection. To be far though, we went on 7/3 (Tuesday) as they were closed on Wed so they didn't have that many vendors. A lot more are supposed to go on the weekend.

Sample and buy local wares. Purchase crafts and visit with friends. Parking can be a problem. Still worth a visit.

The Carrboro Farmers' Market is actually one of the top true farmers' markets in the USA. Everything must be grown or produced within a 50-mile radius of the market, ensuring every purchase you make is a truly local one. The market opens at 7 most of the year and it's best to go as early as possible if you want the best selection. It should be noted that many chefs in our area restaurants do their shopping here as well. The market gets quite crowded late in the morning, say by 10. I have made connections with several of the farmers and bakers. It's great having such a connection and knowing where your food comes from and even who is providing it! I've been to Durham, Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh farmers' markets, and Carrboro's remain the best, the one all others hope to become.

Our son lives in the neighborhood and frequents the market every week. We walked through the market, but being tourists, we didn't buy anything. However, we were very impressed by how welcoming the vendors were. Some even hugged me when my son introduced me as "the visiting mom."

I will definitely return to the market when I visit again in the summer when more options are available. A very enjoyable Saturday morning outing.

Nice variety of local veg - even in Dec we had awesome hot house tomatoes 2.99/lb which made awesome pico. Local farmhouse cheese 10.00/Brie sized wheel and bread (6.00/loaf), bock choy (2.00/bunch).

The Carrboro Farmers Market is unique in many ways--it is run by farmers, someone who grows the food must be at the market every time, and all food must be grown within 50 miles of Carrboro. This means that you always know what you are purchasing and you will never want to settle for store-bought produce again! The market features over 50 varieties of tomatoes, many varieties of melons and other vegetables and fruits. Many farmers also sell meat and eggs. The farmers and shoppers are friendly and the market is a real community. There are frequent special events, for example, tastings, story telling for children and special music. I am a local resident and market volunteer. Visitors and locals alike enjoy the Carrboro Farmers Market!

I love the Carrboro Farmer's market, I appreciate all of the farmer's who come, and the crafts men and who who are there. But in my opinion is is pretty expensive. However, quality of produce exceeds any expectation that I have. Lots of organic items, and for the community that is aware of the health benefits of fresh produce, this is an awesome place.
