Beautiful trails

My daughters and I have been frequents despite living an hour away. The horses are gentle and the staff trustworthy. The trails are well maintained and the scenery can't be beaten.

What a fabulous experience! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and generosity. The staff were down right welcoming, and helped alleviate my skepticism of riding a horse through the mountains. Not something I'm too familiar with being from the Florida Keys. We went on a 2 hour ride with a tour guide, there were about... More

Fantastic ride, amazing trials through some absolutely beautiful areas. David treats his horses extremely well, they are healthy and strong. He has enough horses to handle any level of skill. We loved the trip and are already planning on going back.

We took a day trip here to ride horses. They take great care of the animals and offer an exclusive ride experience in the mountains!

I took my wife to Asheville for the weekend to get away from the hustle of life and also her 30th birthday. Wolf laurel Stables was our first stop of the trip. The trail was beautiful, the horses were great, and David was extremely friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this stable to anyone looking for horseback riding near... More

My husband took me to the Wolf Laurel Stables for my birthday and I am so grateful we found this gem of a place!!! The views, colors and experience are one of a kind. The stables and a portion of all of the rides are located next to a stream which makes it that much more serene. The owner, David,... More

Picturesque setting, beautiful autumn mountain views, friendly and informative trail guide and gentle horses - we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Morgan, David, Grace and Babe for a very nice trail ride experience! Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Asheville area.

For the amount of horse riding that we did I expected a little more. We rode for 2 hours through the mountains, which was beautiful, but that's pretty much all we did. We walked the horses the entire time, and (minus the gorgeous views) I found it a little boring. If you like relaxing activities with little physical effort put... More

I had such a great time here. I was staying next door at Buck House Inn and arranged a few rides. David is a great man and makes people feel at ease. He cares for the horses well and they are obviously happy. I had such a lovely time. My horse was great. I can ride so I appreciated having... More

My family and I stayed in Asheville for several days and my 17 year old son wanted to go riding. We researched stables in the area and found that Wolf Laurel Stables stood out for their reasonable prices to their great reviews. I will say that the drive from the resort gate to the stables is long, not well maintained,... More
