My friend is very interested in pottery but had no room for purchases. We explained this to the extremely kind lady who put down her work and explained all sorts of processes, glazes, etc. to non-customers. There were many lovely and varied pieces in a broad price range. I'll be returning.

I was really looking forward to seeing the pottery studio and we arrived before the posted opening time. We waited for 10 minutes after 10:00 posted open time. I called the number listed and a person said it should be open and to call Sawmill Pottery #. We were on our way leaving town and couldn’t wait longer. Very disappointed!

This is a hidden gem, it is a small local pottery shop that has some amazing collections. The owners are some of the nicest people you will come across and they had a great dog in the shop as well that my son took to right away.

Elise is a wonderful potter and great person. Her work is so unique. Also, Elise is connected with other artists in the Bryson City area. She is a great resource if you wish to learn what the area has to offer in this realm.
