About
We are an Architectural Salvage Store, warehouse and lumber yard located on a 1 1/2 acre site with multiple buildings under roof. In addition to reclaimed lumber, beams, and doors we have a wide variety of hardware, antiques and collectibles, barn finds, industrial salvage and more. Always well stocked with large quantities of barn wood in oak, pine and poplar. Always showing creations made from salvaged materials including bars, harvest tables, benches and cupboards using wormy chestnut, oak, walnut, cherry, maple and heart pine We are definitely worth a trip to the Brevard NC area.

There are a great deal and variety of items to peruse here. From old doors the size of a mansion to old records, tools, and obviously some wood. Lots to review. Not necessarily a something for everyone place, but lots of history here.

Neat cross between Appalachian Antique Hardwoods and Regeneration Station. Didn't find what I was looking for (small live edge mantel) but still worth the trip. Nifty corner of Brevard with an Upcountry Brewing and Magpie Meat & Three both directly across the street.

It's been a while since my husband and I went in search of a narrow door for our cottage linen closet and at that time, the pricing seemed very fair. I love adding antique and vintage architectural pieces to new builds, particularly this one, after being forced to demolish our 80+ year-old family cottage (dangerous mold and rotted wood caused by an unscrupulous builder's shoddy renovation). Places like Underground give us a convenient way to search for items without scouring the countryside. We can't always replace items lost or stolen (like our almost century-old wormy chestnut floor joists this builder's crew carried off, likely to be used in his new home which is being built in our neighborhood, ironically). At least, as some compensation, we have the opportunity to find vintage or antique, well-crafted, uncommon pieces that can put a little history back in some way. We found sidelights that together and hinged, with a bit of sanding and a little added detail, made the perfect closet doors. Our carpenter saw them and was so enthralled he asked where we found them. He's now looking forward to shopping at Underground Salvage. We found our solution quickly and for a fair price and look forward to our next visit!

If you like different and unique this is the place for you. Old trunks, door knobs, clothing, jewelry and doors/ wood. Would make great projects and enhance any house. Loved this hidden gem.

If and only if you love genuine architectural salvage, antiques, old tools/ hardware, and/or reclaimed wood or milled hardwoods, this is the place for you. Had a lovely browse and picked up a couple of small boards to bring home to my woodworking hobby- a piece of wormy chestnut and another of old growth cherry- both will fit in my suitcase and cost me $5. Photo shows a small part of their milled slab inventory.

We were very impressed with the amazing selection of architectural salvage pieces at this family-owned business. The prices were lower than what we had just seen at Architectural Warehouse in Tyron, NC.

We will definitely return with a specific list of door sizes that we will we need for our next project.

Every trip to Brevard seems to require a stop at this place! Had some difficulty finding the new location because we were given wrong directions. Men should never ask for directions! The new location is good to house the huge amount for old wood, doors and furniture available. We enjoy looking through all the stuff!

So happy that I found this place. Living in a 100 year old house makes it nearly impossible to find authentic materials for repairs and remodeling. They have everything I could ever need/want, right down to the pins for the old, solid heart pine doors that countless people have tossed over the years when "updating" old homes. I was shocked to see a fairly decent selection of old cassette tapes, and told the owner that had I known there was a market for them, I would not have tossed ALL of my old ones just weeks ago. My only regret is not having known about this gem of a store years ago. I will definitely return.

Love going here to find new treasures. Always something new to find. Go out side and walk the yard to find some unusual treasures. Tim is great to work with and his family support him very well. Nice folks and great stuff. Not your ordinary antique mall.

My wife and I love unique spots when we are traveling and this is one of the best! It is a 15 minute walk from all of the tourist traps in downtown Brevard and is worth every minute! We found some awesome salvaged items and all of the prices were very reasonable. Once we moved outside we found that they had lots of large live edge wood! This was a very exciting find, and we are looking forward to returning and getting a piece to make a dining room table.
