About Hunger Games Unofficial Fan Tours
Let our fun and knowledgable staff take you on a tour -- walking in the footsteps of your favorite characters at the original filming locations from "The Arena" in The Hunger Games™, filmed here in 2011. Re-enact scenes with other great fans, see all the filming locations, enjoy spectacular waterfalls and more. Your tour includes a Hunger Games-style lunch and workshops. Great workshops include: archery (like your favorite heroine), making movie special effects camoflage makeup (like one of your favorite characters did in a training session) and more.

i'm writing this review to let everyone know that the people that work there are VERY rude. We were in town from Texas. Went by around 8pm just to look at the site and see where we would be going the next day and the minute we drove up and got out of our car(outside of the gates, not on the property) we were approached by several guys to leave the site. We were not on the premises, we were on the road shoulder and these guys told us that we needed to leave because apparently they were trying to have a meeting and that we were making a lot of noise. We hadn't even been there for a minute. I personally think that were doing something that why weren't suppose to . i don't understand how you can have a famous place and not except for people to stop by. The staff could of easily said we are closed right now can you please come back tomorrow during our working hours but instead they scared my family with rudest. and we were actually intimidated by large group of workers. We left and didn't return. We won't be going back and that's really sad because my son really wanted to see the site. very upset to come from Texas and to be greeted like that.

Our entire family had a blast, even thought the weather was less than ideal. On our trip to Brevard, it was our kids (ages 12 &14) favorite activity. From camouflage and archery to visiting the filming sites, our guide Tammy was wonderful and enthusiastic. I highly recommend doing this tour!

A well-organized tour of "The Arena," as well as a great archery lesson and fun movie make-up activity (camouflage your hand like Peta!) Our guide was knowledgeable, energetic, and clearly wanted all of our group, especially my daughter, to have a great experience. We hope to do the District 12 tour in the future. Most enjoyable for people who are in average or better physical shape, as there is walking/hiking involved.

If you are a mobile person that enjoys good company, a good story, don't mind hiking a bit, want to learn new skills (bow & arrow, camo), want to commune with nature, and are just a bit competitive then the 2.5 hour Arena Tour is right down your alley. My granddaughter and I spent last Sunday taking the Arena Tour (2.5 hour) and we had a blast! The Fan Tour crew is entertaining, full of knowledge (both of the Hunger Games and of the forest) and they definitely know what happened and where on the "tour through the rocks and waterfall" (my wording). I don't think you could spend 2.5 hours elsewhere as enjoyably as this tour is. Highly recommended.

My husband I did the arena tour with our 15 year old daughter. Our guide was Tammy and she was so fun and knowledgeable about all things Hunger Games, the movie biz and the beautiful area that we visited. The scenery was spectacular and we would recommend this tour to anyone. Definitely worth it!!
