I have done tastings at about 3/4 of the wineries in the Yadkin Valley and surrounding area and I have to rank RagApple Lassie at the bottom of my list. The wines are acceptable but not outstanding. There is a good variety including four reserve wines. The tasting room is in a large metal building with no windows and absolutely zero ambience. The server was polite and reasonably knowledgeable. I was surprised to learn at the end of the tasting that the glass would cost an additional $2.00 if I wanted to take it. The cost of their tasting is a bit less than other wineries so I guess they prefer to lower the price instead of including the glass. I will say I don't need another standard issue wine glass but we should have been told at the beginning of the tasting. There are much better tasting experiences in the region.

The outside looked deserted but all the action was inside. They have games and wine tasting. Looks like a great place to spend some time tasting wine!

This winery has redone their tasting room and it is great. Nice and open, plenty of room for a large crowd and nice wines. Their white blend paired well with the slider and tasted great. The name comes from a family cow, yes cow, and it is a fun story that they play the decor with nicely. Good stop, friendly staff make this a good stop for a glass or tasting.

My friend and I pulled up to RagApple Lassie vineyard and entered through the top entrance. This was very cool because we able to walk through the facility and see some of their machines. The tasting room was very nicely decorated with the cafe lights, and it was very neat to see all the awards the wines have won. There were only a few tables outside so I can imagine that it could get quite crowded if there were a lot of people hanging out.
