Went tubing down the New River in NC with Wahoo and had a great time. The kids had so much fun that we also booked with them the kayak trip down the same river but a much more challenging ride at 9 miles long. Again had a great time. So then booked a white rapids trip with them in Elizabethton,... More

We were a group of 9, ages 8-61. The New River is very calm and shallow, so people of any age can enjoy floating down (or is it up?) the river. We were there on a busy holiday weekend, so it was a little hectic getting all the tubes and the people together for the two mile trip down the... More

Had an awesome time with my wife and son. Very relaxing. Son had a blast being his first time on the river. He actually walked most of it towing my wife. Staff was excellent!!

My husband, 12-year-old son and I had an excellent time rafting the Nolichucky with Wahoo's today. We've done other rafting trips in the area but this was definitely my favorite. The scenery was breathtaking, surrounded by steep canyons and beautiful forests. If you're trying to "get away from it all" this is the trip for you! We were a little... More

From the first phone call, all the way until the trip was finished, these guys are on point. The trip leader, Patrick, was funny and informative, all while keeping safety the first priority. We got on an old school bus aptly named "white lightning", for a short, yet exciting ride to our put in spot at the Nolichucky River. We... More

Pros: very entertaining, breathtaking view, awesome, down to earth, safe and knowledgeable guides. Beautiful views and unbelievable time for all our family members. I was hesitant as I have a three disc fusion of my neck, but it was not an issue. The fact that it was a sunny, clear day, helped. So cudos to Mother Nature. She was great... More

Our group did a river tubing excursion as a way to start off a full week of events in the Banner Elk area. This was a fantastic way to kick things off! Everyone loved the relaxing float down the river, and it gave people a chance to get to know one another in a fun atmosphere. The only complaint I... More
