The garden was very interesting, and although it is somewhat small, many of the plants and areas are identified. There are some steps in the garden, so it is not handicapped friendly. There is a $2 pp honor donation, and it is well worth that.

It looked like they were trying to change out some of the beds, but we were disappointed in how run down it was.

I really liked how they had some of the plants named with plaques. Easy walk through garden. Places to set and watch the birds.

Daniel Boone Gardens, a gem in the middle of town, lent itself so well to our writing group focused on nature that day. The entire area that includes neighboring Horn in the West and Watauga Farmers Market (Saturday) makes for a lovely stop. I also...More

My husband and I enjoyed walking through this garden. I'm sure there would have been more in bloom earlier in the year but it was still fun to walk through. The old cabin area was interesting and the fern garden was pretty.

This is a well maintained landscape. There are many kinds of plants to see. It is a difficult walk if you have issues. You have to pay to enter but I have never been when an attendant was there. You put the fee in a...More
