Awesome experience! We were on the Watauga River with Dave. Great time with lots of sunshine, beautiful scenery, class 1-2 rapids, and Dave's bad jokes :). Friendly and experienced guide who was fun but serious about safety. Had a blast and highly recommend River and...More

This was our second adventure with this group, rafting being the first. We went with a slower paced activity this time. Tubing down the New River from the Todd outpost was relaxing and perfect for our family of four (2 children ages 14 and 11)....More

In town for family members to run "The Bear" and was looking for some fun to kill time before the race. Enjoyed tubing and kayaking down the New River. Great staff at the Todd outpost. Will definitely be going back next time we are in...More

Our family throughly enjoyed our tubing down the river. Having a 9 and a 3.5 year old we are thankful we found them. The getting into the river is the hardest part, but once in you relax the rest of the way. The river is...More

It was a great adventure. Had fun even though the water was a bit muddy. There wasn't too much river traffic in the morning. Go early so you can have the place to yourself.

We had a great time tubing down the New River. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had planned this outing as part of a big birthday celebration and they were able to handle our group of almost 20 with no issues at all.

I don't have any complaints about the company itself (they could use better parking) but I feel that the river is too low for tubing. In some areas the water was only 6 inches deep, we had to get up and walk. It ended up...More

We took our kids and their friends (9 total) and spent the afternoon on the New River. You meet at their facility and they drive you with their van and the tubes up the river. It took about 3 to 3 1/2 hours for us...More

My family went on the French Broad river. The guides were friendly and fun, they set up lunch for us midway down the river which was nice. The river isn't too extreme but it's still pretty fun, with great scenery.
