Before you leave BR, you have to hike at least part of the Glen Burney Trail. It's uniquely located behind the downtown park, and have grades to satisfy most every body. 'Really cool...

Gardens are nice. Be ultra cautious on the trail which is narrow and steep in places. DO NOT attempt to cross the waterfalls as several have died doing this. There are better trails in the area to hike.

This is a fun, but steep hike with lots of roots and brush. Great view of river, but The bridge was out, so did not go all the way.

We planned to do the entire hike, but the first bridge was out and some of our party decided it was not safe to cross the water and continue. That is why I could not give it 5 stars. I didn't see the rest.

We visited the Annie Cannon Gardens with friends. We were so glad we had chosen to stop by; the rhododendron, azaleas, and so many other beautiful flowers were at their peak. The lake was peaceful with ducks and a beautiful swan; they came out to...More

There is a small gravel lot on the left side of the road right at the trail head which is even closer. Use your GPS or stop at the visitor center on the north side of town for a map and directions. Be sure to take rain gear... More
