We took our grandson on his first trip to Tweetsie. The park was clean and all the employees we came in contact with were very friendly. The upper parking lot , close to the entrance, is relatively small. However, there is plenty of parking in the lower lots. The parking is free. This past week was the last of the... More

Spent half a day at Tweetsie Railroad in Boone NC during the last week of July with my wife and kids and my niece. Riding the train was very cool especially when the whistle sounded. The actors for the train skit were decent and the younger kids on the train enjoyed the show, it's geared more for them anyway. The... More

While on family vacation, we went to see Tweetsie Railroad. We enjoyed the train ride and the enactment along the way. The outfits were very real time for that period of time of when there was Cowboys and Indians. It was fun being a kid again ad seeing the kids have a wonderful time. Just an all around amazing trip!... More

Great park and attractions are wonderful. Very clean. Most of the employees are very friendly and accommodating. Food is adequate and reasonably priced. Different areas for play. Would definitely recommend you take your kids. BUT. .....Our family didn't like the train ride with the cowboys and Indians getting into a gun fight. I will leave it at that.

We went after 3pm one day and got the whole day the next day included. The Kids enjoyed it. I think we did just about everything there was to do. Price was a little steep, for what there was to do, probably wouldn't have gone if grandma wasn't footing the bill.

My daughter and I drive up for a day and really had a wonderful time. The train ride/show was so funny it just set the tone for the rest of the day. Being afraid of heights and the chair lift was an adventure that I can't wait to do next year!

I traveled to Tweetsie Railroad many times a child with my parents. This is great spot for younger kids. Not to busy with fun rides for everyone.
