We visited Tweetsie for one of its special events, Day Out With Thomas. Thomas, as in Thomas the Tank Engine, superhero to young boys everywhere. Because of the theme, the usual cowboys and Indians train show was replaced with a Thomas-inspired storyline. I was happy about the change-up, as I was not impressed with the comments I had read about... More

lots to keep a youngster entertained! ride on the ski-lift provided wonderful views! Who knew the gent who greeted me on the train would turn out later on the ride to be a bad rascal wanted by the sheriff? Girls clogging show was a treat! lots to do and smiling, talented staff to entertain you.

We took two 3 year-old boys and we all had a great day! The train ride is classic (we took it twice)! We also enjoyed the rides, the petting zoo, the music and magic shows, and the food! The staff was so nice to the children! All the adults and kids who were there with us seemed to be thoroughly... More

Fun small western theme park. Rides, games, petting zoo, you can ride an old locomotive. In October Thomas the Train comes to visit. Great family day for smaller children.

Great place to take your kids. It isn't huge but there's plenty of things to do. You can literally go through the whole park in less than half the day. Staff is always friendly. Food selection is basic but not pricey like other theme parks. You can bring your own water and back packs for convenience. There is strollers you... More

We enjoyed riding the rails and watching the cowboys, cowgirls and Indians. Rode the ferris wheel and the sky lift up the hill. Great fun.l

My children are 11 and 8 and this was there first visit to Tweetsie Railroad. They really enjoyed it and have already asked if we can go back again next year! They enjoyed all of the rides and especially the train ride. There is a good variety of rides for all thrill levels and we also enjoyed the shows. We... More

We had a wonderful full day here, two grandparents and three 7 year olds. The trio loved the low key rides, Ferris wheel, twister, cars, etc., and enjoyed feeding the animals, and the magic show (the only show we got to.) It's a great size for small kids and seniors and we almost never waited in lines. There was shade... More

My husband and I took our kids(4 years old and 2 years old) and they had so much fun. My oldest was able to ride all the rides but one and my youngest could ride a good bit of them. They absolutely loved the train ride and it was amazing. This was the first time any of us had been... More
