The joy of skiing or riding really begins when you can turn and ski in control on intermediate terrain. A very high percentage of people who try skiing or riding never return because they try it on their own or with the help of well meaning friends. Without proper instruction, many people never experience the true joy of skiing or riding. Guidance and coaching from a trained professional at the French-Swiss Ski College makes the goal of recreational skiing or riding much easier to accomplish.

So you want to learn to ski or snowboard? There isn't a more experienced place in these mountains to get your legs under you. For more than a decade my family has come together with young and not so young newbes. We always suggest lessons because the learning curve can be painful without the basics. This ski school is the... More

Skip the long lines at the resorts and rent your skis here. Professional staff, good advice (they called the resort for conditions for us) long hours and very new equipment. As a bonus you'll save a few dollars.

We had two kids: 9 and 11. Both have been before buy are beginnera. We thought to invest in them so got them private lessons. WELL worth the cost. One-on-one instruction is the best value of money for time. We had Riley and Lizzie, both attentive and good with kids. We did the 3-lesson package and noted marked improvement in... More

We have used this school twice -- once for skiing and once for boarding. Last year we had a rather lackluster boarding lesson and I didn't think we would go back. This year, however, we returned for a ski lesson due to the fact that it's within miles of our house. Our daughter, 9, has had some lessons at Sugar... More

Had a private lesson for my son, 9, never skiied before. Worth the money and the instructor did more than an hours worth of one on one instruction. Was about $50. We experienced this at the Appalachian ski resort.

We rented skis, boots, and bibs today and these people are awesome. We were headed to Ski Alpine when we saw their sign. We decided to take a chance. I don't know who the one lady was but she cut out discount coupons from a local magazine and offered them to us. We didn't even know the coupons existed. I... More

We took the grandkids for their first skiing experience and the Ski College was a great help. They (and us) were a little apprehensive about taking the younger kids skiing and it all turned out very well, due to the Ski College. We all had a great time!

The instructors were helpful and very friendly. I thought the rate was reasonable for me and my sons.
