Playground area is very nice and different. Nice to walk down to the river, has a couple of swings on the pier as well. Haven't fished there yet but plan to. Kids enjoy visiting for the playground. Not a lot of parking.

Located right on the river, this park provides several large covered picnic areas and bathrooms with a water fountain. The play area is fenced in with a few places for adults to sit. The play equipment is unique and children love playing on it.

This is Belmont's Park and Recreation Dept latest addition. Open last Summer in either June or July and a nice oasis next to the upper reaches of Lake Wylie. I found it while I was exploring the area. It's between NC Hwy 7 and Lake...More
