Saturday summer concerts

Rode the chair lift up for 10.00 each. Lovely views! Had drinks and snacks up on top while waiting for concert to start. Pretty views on top. Not enough chairs for concert so I... read more

Beech Mountain ski resort makes me feel like I've stepped back 25 years, and not in a bad way! It's got a certain charm that other resorts can't touch. The brewery was a great addition, and the skiing is some of the best around. We used to drive to Snowshoe WV every year, but went to Beech for the first... More

Visited last Saturday for music (Sweet and Sweet) at the bar on the mountain top. Access was by ski lift. Great music, alcohol and views were outstanding. Watch the weather change from 5500 ft.

Rode the chair lift up for 10.00 each. Lovely views! Had drinks and snacks up on top while waiting for concert to start. Pretty views on top. Not enough chairs for concert so I would recommend bringing a beach towel to sit on in the grassy area and bring a picnic. Food is not up to par and expensive. Cocktails... More

We took the lift to the top of the mountain where you can enjoy a snack or a drink. Plenty of comfortable chairs and an amazing view. A round trip ticket on the lift is $10 and well worth the cost. It is popular for mountain bikers and every other lift is a bike rack. We had fin watching them... More

Visited Beech Mountain as part of a trip to the Land of Oz. We took the ski lift to the Oz entrance. The resort appears to be very well equipped for mountain biking as every other chair has been replaced with a bike rack. Very friendly folks and the scenery is simply awesome.

Amazing views and relaxing town. Plenty to do in terms of hiking, biking and just touring the area. Can ride the ski lift to top of mountain during the summer. Live concerts on Sunday and having fun visiting the little shops in the area. Kids say yes to this area again and definitely will be back.

We go up to this mountain to get away from the heat and just go relax and unwind. There is peace here, and beauty. Go for a hike (there are hiking trails all over), enjoy the beautiful scenery and go to an outfitter to book an adventure like whitewater rafting. We love it up here.

The highest altitutde town east of the Rockies, this community is built like a typical Italian hill town, with homes built up the mountain all the way to the top. Great skiiing, hiking, golf and other sports. It's always cool in the summer because of the altitude, and the views are spectacular. By sharing your experiences, you're helping travelers make... We took the kids to Beech Mountain, NC from Charleston, SC on a search for snow. We found it!! Beech Mountain was on of the last places with any snow on the ground so it was perfect! The ski resort town is small and friendly with some really great restaurants! The best part is that the town has a free... More
