Even if you don't enjoy burying ground, the flowers and trees are something to see. You can go into the church on Ann St. and get info on who's buried there as well. Interesting grave site!

Historic graveyard just off the waterfront, interspersed with huge live oaks and native vegetation. Quiet strolls through the shaded walkways cool on even the hottest summer day. Challenge you to keep a dry eye when you read some of the inscriptions on the children's headstones.

Be sure to swing by the historical society and get the guide for a dollar. It's a beautiful cemetery

No charge to enter the burying ground, but they ask a $1 for the brochure with brief commentary on a number of the graves. Not sure what the current fee is for a tour guide, but sometimes you get a free short tour with a... More
