I've read many of these reviews & they are fairly accurate. I would like to add that if the guides are aware that you are not enjoying the boat wars, your guide will most likely keep you out of it. It's all in good fun & made the trip very memorable. Our family went last summer & had so much... More

I highly recommend this for families. It was a leisurely ride and very safe, the water gun fights were the best part and kept the whole family engaged in the fun on the slower parts of the river. The guides were all super friendly and really made us laugh from the bus ride right up until the end!

My family went for a guided hike with High Mountain Expeditions and it was spectacular. Our guide, Mark, was very personable and informative. He interacted great with our kids (ages 11 & 13). We went on a hilly wooded hike out about 2 miles to a private waterfall where we all took advantage of the crisp clear water (a wonderful... More

The rafting trip was my first time and it served well for a beginner trip. Our bus driver was great, Brandon and the other guide on our bus. Both were very funny and entertaining. Jordon , our raft guide was wonderful. All staff was great, friendly and funny. Lunch , which was make your own sandwich with potato salad and... More

Had a long weekend in Banner Elk with my brother and his family, we wanted a fun and relatively inexpensive adventure we could all enjoy. This turned out to be a perfect choice. The oldest in our raft was in his 70's the youngest was 9, great fun for all age groups. The staff was engaging and friendly right off... More

We went rafting for the first time with our kids ages 12 and 15. The staff and guides were friendly and funny, and did a great job keeping everyone entertained for the ~ 40 min bus ride into Tennessee. Lunch was make-your-own sandwiches by the river. The rafting was great-the river was beautiful and the rapids were mild (NOT the... More

Guides we great! View amazing! Such a great time. Highly recommended this company! Water was a little low but they have what is called duckies (single rubber kayak) to accommodate for lower water. Was told great time to go would be April or May for higher water. Our "short" bus ride to river was a fun and entertaining. Yes it... More

Fabulous day on the river. We were a large group, guides were fun, very helpful, excellent at what they do. We needed to re-arrange people mid way as some of our group got tired, this was accomplished with ease. These guides ensured we had a really great day. My only suggestion would be to make sure there was water Break... More
