Old Fort Niagara is a living history site within close driving distance of Niagara Falls (both NY and Ontario) and Buffalo, NY, featuring original 18th-century stone buildings, built by the French and British, and daily interpretive programming that spans its three centuries of history. Open daily at 9 a.m. with ticket sales ending at 4:30 pm (ticket sales end at 6:30 pm in July and August).

We stopped here on our way to the airport and I'm so glad we did, the castle is really neat and many other interesting things to see. It's really cool to see such historic buildings still standing, defiantly a treat.

Have visited many historic sites. This sticks out for a few reasons. Is extremely interesting and remarkable Fort. Also, you can touch things and not like glassed off museum. It is great. Great view of Toronto.

It's worth the trip/detour to visit Old Fort Niagara when in the Niagara Falls area. The fort is in great shape and offers a fascinating look at the history of the place. A beautiful location. Well worth the price of admission.

spent an enjoyable few hours at the fort - lots to see in the museum and in the the fort. A great insight into the history of the area. Loved the re-enactments and the musket firing display.

In the park I would think so. I didn't see any near the museum, but as others have mentioned, it's best to contact them. I can't imagine a problem if the dog is not loode.
