This tour was fantastic! Our guide, Ike Ilkiw, is a retired NY police detective, a colorful character and raconteur in his own right who gave us lots of local color and inside stories about the sites included in the tour and many more Manhattan stories. The tour includes a range of elements--restaurants and tenement buildings that were famous crime scenes, real or fictional; major criminal justice buildings for the city; and landmarks of all sorts along the way through Little Italy and the environs. Even when we already knew a site, we learned something more about it. Ike is a great tour guide.

We did the Law and Order (Cops and Robbers) Walking Tour of Lower Manhattan on June 17, 2018 and it was one of the best tours I have ever done!!

Walking with Ike was like taking a stroll with a good friend rather than a formal tour guide. While we had a specific route there was not a specific “script” which made the experience more informal and lots of fun!

I am a Law and Order junkie and pop culture movie fan so I loved Ike’s stories about movie locations and experiences he had during his tenure on the NY Police Department.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a new perspective of Lower Manhattan and spend a few hours with an amazingly fun and knowledgeable tour guide.

We booked this tour for the Mob and Law and Order TV show fans with us. It was the highlight of our trip to NY. Ike was full of stories and provided numerous pictures to help us connect everything together. The tour was not rushed and he was happy to answer any questions we had. We will definitely return for his other tours and recommend this for anyone visiting NYC.

On September 13th, I was able to go on a two-hour action-packed, informative tour with Ike Ilkiw, a retired NYPD detective with years of knowledge and experience on the job. I learned so much in those two hours, from well-known landmarks to little fun facts about the history around Little Italy, Chinatown, the borough of Manhattan's major courthouses and more. I felt like I took a crash course in crime and NYC underworld history! Not to mention, his wealth of personal experience and stories added a lot more to my experience. It made the tour that much better. The Law & Order Tour of Lower Manhattan is a must-see for tourists, visitors, and all New Yorkers alike.

Would go on it again any day.

Tour guide Ike Ilkew has a the knowledge of the retired cop he is and the quirkily, humorous personality of a “real” New Yorker. This a 2-1/2 hour walking tour flew by with stops in Little Italy, Chinatown and downtown Manhattan. I never knew Weegee was the pseudonym of Arthur Fellig, a documentary photographer who lived near the old police station and was, therefore, on the scene before any other media. Ilkew, in addition to showing the group the locations of famous murders, mafia “rubouts” and film locations, has a handy book of old photos to put his stories in perspective. Highly recommended.

what a wonderful day we had with Ike, many thanks for your hospitality, just returned from our holiday in NYC and Toronto, Ike was soooo helpful, and told us many things we didn't know and new York, and taking us to places, that we would not have seen on an open bus tour, and relating to his life in nyc, we started the tour at 8.30. and didn't return till 6.30 and had lunch in Little Italy, toured all the usual places, many thanks again for a wonderful day

We met our guide Ike on a rainy morning, and instantly you can tell he has some interesting stories. His experiences as a detective and a great crime movie knowledge kept us riveted at each place he described. I was travelling with my mother (an elderly lady), and we found it a well paced tour. From Little Italy to Chinatown, we delved into the history of the area, along with some mob stories. Along with a tasty rest stop, this tour is highly recommended for those wanting some interesting historical tales.

I stumbled across this tour with Ike from the other reviews here on trip advisor and as there were such good reviews I decided to book for my husband's wedding anniversary gift and I am so pleased I did. It was a fantastic tour (even in the rain) and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Ike is a genuinely lovely guy and we could have listened and walked with him around new york the whole day! Highly, highly recommended....
