I am a regular at this place for the comedy show. Comics change every week. Some weeks it's OK, some weeks it's amazing. The food is good pub grub, nothing that special, but they haven't poisoned anyone yet. I eat there. The cocktails are well made and the selection of beers is good. They have different events during the week. The OLDEST Bar in New York City

Very popular with locals
,including families All are welcome There is a bar area and separate restaurant You are greeted warmly and the menu has something for everyone
Burgers and fries were very good as were the chicken sliders Pricing was reasonable
Yvette the Gen Manager was attentive to all

Haven't been to Neirs in years. Decided to go tonight because they were showing the movie Goodfellas which did some filming there
The place was packed but was able to get a table quickly Beers were ice cold and went down way to easy I ordered a Goodfellas hamburger which was very good. My wife ordered nachos which were "ok". Nothing special but it was nachos. She also ordered the Mac and cheese which she did not like There was a ton on oregano and really ruined the flavor of the Mac and cheese
Over all we enjoyed the night out Next time we probably would just do drinks. If I do eat I would just stick to the burger.
