The Nass couple, as you know from other reviewers are up in age and have now decided to put their trowel back up on the shelf.

They had a "Close-Out" sale this past July and August and are no longer in Business. I wish them well in their remaining years but the area has lost a great business and a couple who were devoted to pleasing their customers

I was totally unprepared for the volume of daylilies that were for sale. The only thing that saved us was that we were limited in the number that we could buy at one time. An 80+year old couple are the owners and they do all the work - and know exactly where every day lilly is by name. My goodness! So it only took us 3 hours to make our selections....thank goodnes they weren't all in bloom or I'd still be there.

Really enjoyed seeing all the Flowers. Owners are super nice and full of info. I was told they will be closing the farm

If you love daylilies, you must go to Nass Farm. The owners are knowledgeable and friendly. They grow hundreds of varieties hardy enough to survive northern winters on the 4 acre farm. They also have many original hybrid varieties. The prices are very reasonable. You make your selection and the owners dig up the plants, if they are really busy you may leave your order and come back later. The best time to visit is July, when most of the daylilies are in bloom, it's a breathtaking sight. I've purchased many daylilies over the years from the Nass's, and enjoy them in my Pennsylvania garden every year.
