I used to walk to Clachan of Campsie while training for the WHW...we always stopped for a bowl of homemade soup in the little cafe which was absolutely delicious. Dogs are made very welcome with a bowl of water and food provided. Cakes are delicious...More

Visited The Waterfalls at Clachan of Campsie on a wet Sunday morning, beautiful scenery and the waterfall is quite close so easy to get to, a lovely sight and great to see. On my way back to the car park the Tearoom was just open,...More

The Glen itself is a beautiful spot for the family, but avoid the cafe unless you want service with a scowl. We visited on Easter Day, decided to take the kids for an ice cream and the elders for a coffee. The owner was obnoxious...More

Tiring walk up, especially as it was hot and sunny. Lots of water required. Views at top of Fintry Hills and Ben Lomond makes this a great walk if you only have half a day. 45 minutes from Glasgow by bus, so convenient.

Good for a stop to get a sandwich. Staff were friendly. Only thing for me was that there was no dressing on the salad, that would have made it great.

First time visiting, staff was friendly and helpful. Had the soup and sandwich meal deal (lentil soup with a cheese & ham toastie with tomato chutney) both of which were fresh, tasty and hot.
