With only one day in Whitianga the two hour trip in the Glass Bottom Boat was a spectacular way to see so many sights along the coastline. The water was calm and clear which allowed us to see schools of Snapper and lots of other fish species through the glass bottom. The coastal views were stunning. The Cathedral Cave, its... More

Well worth it, I'm from NZ and still learned something about my own history, the skipper had a great sense of humour and impeccable local knowledge, he didn't mind going out of his way for us to see a lazy seal too, even for this time of year a keen patron went for a swim and th skipper obliged, would... We spent an extra night in Whitianga due to heavy rain to take the Glass Bottom Boat the next day. It was well worth the wait. The sights were beautiful and Skipper Joe gave us a most enjoyable ride and was very knowledgeable of the area. Thanks for a great experience.
