The cave is Located in the Yanchep National Park. It cost $16 for an adult for a 45 minute tour. The tour was very detailed and contains a lot of useful information about the history of the cave and the area. I would definitely recommend visiting the cave if you’re in the park.

It's really well worth a visit, and is just about an hour north of Perth. We loved the guided tour (about 45 minutes). We found the tour very informative, and our tour guide was very interactive. It's at easy walk through the chambers, steps and boardwalk. You will need to bend down in parts of the walk, and there are about 30 steep steps down (and up) to get to the Cave. We saw amazing stalactites, stalagmites, shawls and helictites. You do need to pre purchase your ticket as the tour numbers are capped. Parking on site is free.

A really fascinating tour of the caves with a really knowledgeable guide. Amazing to hear the history and learn about how the crystals have formed.

Don’t bother with Yanchep Park - we were really unimpressed. No information boards about cultural history or aboriginal history, no water taps, mess everywhere.

Spent a wonderful hour at Crystal Cave with Nelle as your guide. The whole tour was very interesting, beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable. We've been to a number of cave tours and this one rated very good,. The price was reasonable, and the guide was absolutely exceptional.
There are some stairs and some low ceilings but it is not a difficult walk.

The Crystal Cave is located inside the Yanchep National Park. The park has a entry fee of $12 per car then it is $11 per adult or $5.50 for children 6 to 16 to do the 1 hour cave tour. This is very good value. The most important thing to do is go straight to the McNess House visitors centre once you have paid to get into the park and pay for the caving tour here early. Then enjoy the many parks for a picnic or check out the free koala boardwalk area then head to the caving car park at least 15 minutes before the start time. The cave is great and the staff very informative. The cave is very easy to walk thru. Just a few low spots that everyone had to duck down to get under. Tour times are 10.30am 11.30 1pm 2pm and 3pm.

First time visitor. Paid my $13 entry fee, and explained to the very friendly staff member at the entry gate we were first time visitors, here to visit the caves. She directed us on how to get to the caves, then we sat there for half an hour, presuming we purchase the tickets at the office at the caves, only to be informed by another visitor you must purchase tickets at the visitors centre. We blindly drove around looking for the visitors centre, but due to the lack of "visitors centre" signage we couldn't find it. Had to drive out the park, to only drive back in to enable us to seek directions from the entry staff. By the time we found the visitors centre to enquire about the tickets, they had sold out for the next two hours. Needless to say we left disappointed, as did 6 International Guests (who were not part of our group) who were just as confused as us with regards to purchasing tickets, and were not prepared to wait 2 hours after sitting at the cave enterance for at least half an hour)

Unprofessional female tour guide . She spent a fair chunk of the tour discussing her 40th birthday with a female visitor whose partner then spent the remainder of the time speaking through the limited information given by the tour guide. She may have discussed the history of the cave but with a toddler constantly speaking crying and running round and the man talking to his friends we have no idea - I also found some of the things done in the caves as builing a steel earthquake shelter and shotcreting pumping chlorinated water into the cave very odd and in direct contradiction to maintaining the integrity and conservation of the caves. Also if the guide had been paying more attention she would have seen ppl touching cave decorations and wiping the water from the dropping decorations that were supposedly being measured . Very little cave and minimal cave decorations All added to a very disappointing experience

Crystal Cave Yanchep is located in Yanchep National Park which is 1 hour north of Perth. Entry into the park is paid by car $12, but entry into the caves is paid per person. Adults $16 and children 6yrs - 14 yeras $7.50. We also had a 3 year old with us and decending into the caves by stairs was no problem. You come back up the same way. Derek our guide - from the Aboriginal Noongar people was very knowledgable and interesting to listen to. Pointing out the origins of the cave and interesting things to see in the cave. The tour lasts about 45minutes.
When you are in the park, you can have picnics, see the koalas, eat at the tearooms or Yanchep Inn and walk bush trails and play golf with your own clubs. A relaxing and pleasant way to spend an afternoon or morning.

We back to Yanchep National Park and did the cave tour again last week. This time my daughter and I have taken 3 of my friends children. They all had a great time going in to the cave and having a look around. There is one spot where there is a few broken pieces from another cave that can be touched.
We will go again.

Unfortunately is is a rather average cave. It is open to public because in Western Australia there are not many mountains and very few caves.
If you really want a cave it is better to spend a weekend to drive down to Margaret River where you can find something comparable with what you can find in other parts of the world.
