My son (6) was very excited to go here and asked me so many questions about how chocolate is made, so I thought it would be great for him to speak with the man doing the tastings he spent quite a bit of time talking to the group before us. Unfortunately he didn't seem very interested in talking to the two of us, told us a couple of facts about the chocolate there but most was prompted by me pointing out things. He moved on to a group of adults quite quickly so it was quite dissapointing.
The chocolate is quite tasty and many varieties available depending on how you like your chocolate, so should find something to suit everyone. Blocks were $8 each, but you could buy sets as well at a discount from what I saw.

The staff on the ice cream side however were lovely, very personable and the ice cream was absolutely divine. Creamy and thick and incredible flavour. The waffle comes were crispy and went great with the ice cream.
Ice cream was $5 each and the scoops were quite large. Burnt caramel and white chocolate awesome choices and both were very very good. Would definitely go back for the ice cream.
The location outside is very green and very quiet, a great place to relax.

We also left with a large cookie ($4.50) which we are later with lunch. It is very soft in the middle and VERY chocolatey which is how a good cookie should be. Definitely worth grabbing one when you visit.

The Chocolate (and icecream) are second to none, but equally as impressive was the time taken and knowledge shown by the staff member who took us through the chocolate tasting. it was very interesting and great to compare the different characteristics. He was knowledgeable, unrushed and generous. A great experience.

Exceptionally bad service … came with three other girlfriends for coffee and cake.
Badly wanted to have brownie warmed up with a a scoop of ice cream… apparently, just then they got too busy and didn’t have enough staff to wash plates, so wanted to put my order on the cardboard plate.. I was questioning the decision as I didn’t want ice cream with flakes of disintegrated cardboard and pointed out that they are serving same table with different attitude.
He then proceeded to take the other cake of the glass plate onto the cardboard one….I’m sure the environment loves him as well..
Either pay your staff or get more plates .
For $10 worth of cake I kinda of expect at least nice customer service …

All I can say is this place has the best ice cream and hot chocolate anywhere.

We came for a look around, as you do and immediately invited for a chocolate tasting. How could we say no?

The young male assistant (Unfortunately I cannot remember his name) really knew his stuff when it came to chocolate and guided us, piece by piece on a tour of his chocolate bars. Not only that, but he taught us about the different grades and how the amount of cocoa powder affected the taste of the chocolate. Very interesting.

We decided to try out some of their wares. I had a white hot chocolate and my wife tried their ice creams, white chocolate and another chocolate (surprise, surprise).

They were the best we had ever tasted. The hot chocolate was made using an actual bar of chocolate, not chocolate powder. For taste and texture it could not be beaten.

As for the ice cream, it was the best!. Superb flavours and textures. Probably the smoothest ice cream we had ever had.

Of course, we ended up buying several bars of their comestibles and left exceedingly happy.

Ten out of ten, definitely you have to visit

PS You can't buy their ice cream anywhere else so you HAVE to come!

If you are looking for an opportunity experience someone who has mastered their craft, this is the spot. The passion for the trade is evident from the free chocolate tasting to the mocha that will leave you wondering what you've been drinking all the times before. The Gelato rivals that of Italy with an original twist. This is a must visit!

We did the chocolate tasting, which was incredible & informative.
We then stayed on for morning tea, which was hot chocolate & house made chocolate cake with hazelnut gelato.
The 2 ladies who served us were so friendly and helpful. It's just an all-around wonderful experience.
Would highly recommend.

We visited as we were interested in specialty chocolate. We were not disappointed. Although the new premises is being developed we were warmly welcomed and tried samples of the chocolate on offer. There was quite a difference in the chocolate and we came away happy with the choices we made. Definitely speciality chocolate with their own specific taste.

This is a small operation but has wonderful chocolates. The tour wasn't able to show the operations as it was under renovation but the explanation provided on the process was interesting and the guide knowledgeable. The tasting guide was also good with a good explanation of the affect of different cocoa beans from around the world. Worth a visit.

Not just another chocolate shop. Tastings are must do. The tasting was more like a wine tasting. Our “guide” was very informative and took us through the subtle and not so subtle changes in flavour you encounter using cocoa beans from the different regions. It has changed the way we look at chocolate.

Walked in whist male member was hosting chocolate tasting with 4. Stood next to them and thought on next serve he would include us. Not on next serve or ant serve. Just ignored, no eye contact, no you will be next. So we just walked out. What we did. See of the chocolate tasting you would need to take your magnifying glass they are so small. Fancy name but nothing to match MR chocolate factory.
