Awesome beach, very beautiful but take note that there are no facilities here, no toilets, no change rooms.

If you only have the time to visit one beach on Rottnest, make it this one. Safe swimming, fun snorkelling and pristine white sand. The stop on the island bus is number 7, or rent a bike and be prepared for some hills. From the...More

Great long sandy beach with coral snorkelling. Check wind direction first, can get busy on the south side when an easterly blows. The walk along the beach is great and you may see stingrays in the water.

Salmon bay was gorgeous for a swim! I went when it was cloudy and windy, the water was a beautiful green and visibility went on forever despite the clouds! Make sure you book early to ensure you have a bike, otherwise the hop-on hop-off bus...More

Go in September before school holidays. Get going early on the first bus or bike it to have the beach to yourself. There is a fantastic Osprey nest here to check out.

Not really, as it’s probably the most popular beach after the Basin on the island, so there’s always a few people around unless it’s a terrible day.
