The basin was really cool, it’s amazing how Mother Nature carved out such a clean looking pool. The water was warm and inviting and because we rode the bikes down early in the morning we had it all to ourselves. Definitely worth a visit and...More

Love the basin, but so do a lot of people. Would recommend it but not in the peak season. There are many many beautiful spots on Rotto. Check the wind direction first though!

Always a favourite spot to spend the day. Sheltered from the wind, gorgeous turquoise waters are a refreshing way to beat the heat. Toilets are on site so convenient to stay the whole day.

despite the crowds due to the long weekend, this place was a great spot for a swim and snorkel, lovely clear water and plenty of marine life to observe

Spending a morning on this pristine and stunning beach is the highlight of a trip to Rotto. The snorkerling is brilliant, safe spot for the kids to swim and turquoise waters all around you

just like everything at Rottnest this place is over hyped & over praised. snorkeling average at best, way too many rocks. road works made it extremely hard to get to.

When we visited it was low tide and low swell so the basin was on full show. Even though the southerly wind was howling the basin was protected and calm, with beautiful clear water. There’s not an awful lot of marine life around compared to...More
