Definitely fairy Penguins rescued and fed by hand by the trainers. Look but don't touch. You may see wild ones nesting on the island but they are very timid.

Recommend that you do day 3 first. Go to King's Park and go shopping, stay overnight in Perth CBD. Then pick up your hire car. A rest in the airport is not the same as sleeping 8 hours in a bed.

I am planning a trip to Perth mid Sept. Is the weather still pretty cold? Can I ask, pinnacles and sand dune is at the north of Perth where Frementle, rockingham, mandurah, bunbury, busseltan, mr are in the south of Perth? What is the main differences between Caversham and whiteman park? Which is more worth going between Penguin Island (rockingham) or Dolphin Discovery (Bunbury) On the way to Pinnacles (nambung National Park) will by pass Sand Dune? Is it advisable for children aged...More

Hi all, it's my first time going to Australia and with 2 kids in tow. Need advice on my itinerary, hotel recommendations, where to eat, and any advice you think is important to take note of. This is my rough itinerary. Havent had time to give it much thought. Some of the stuff were just cut and paste. We will be doing self drive. I'm so interested in Albany, but don't think we can squeeze that into this trip. Are whale and dolphin watching available during this period? I would like my...More
