We did not have time to explore much. Visited one beach and one forest. But just the drive through here is incredible. Huge trees line the road for miles. Would love to go back.

I was so shocked to find out in Walpole about the fires from Jan 2015... and so couldn't go into the camping ground of Shannon NP.. it was all destroyed.. I sat at the entrance and had a little cry as I have always enjoyed...More

This National Park is simply awe inspiring...from the towering height of the trees to the stark beauty of the Western Australian grasses and finally the excitement of discovering the tiny wild flowers hidden in the undergrowth

We were unfortunate to visit post recent fires and for seemingly K's the road was shrouded by the blackened destruction of fire charred wood. New life could be seen starting to sprout, and smoke could still be seen with even some smouldering trees still alive....More
