Mikhali our guide and the business owner was extremely knowledgeable about the area and spotted over 25 rock wallabies, numerous birds and other wildlife on the one hour boat tour. He shared a few jokes and made the event humorous and enjoyable. Wonderful event to share with our family. If you are in the Exmouth area I highly recommend you taking the time to enjoy the tour.

Fantastic trip. The enthusiastic owner/captain Mikhali, was both knowledge and fun to travel with. His expert guidance soon had us spotting the chattering fruit bats, elegant egrets and the stars of the show, the rock wallaby.
The trip ambles up the saltwater creek. Bring water and hats.
Good value too.

This is short 1-hour boat trip located at the mouth of the Yardie Creek in Cape Range National Park. The boat jetty is around 4-5 minutes walk from the main carpark where you will also find public toilets.

Tickets can be reserved online and the operator holds 2-3 boat tours a day. Boats are covered and ply the creek waters slowly, perfectly safe and very relaxed and comfortable. Life preserves are available but they won't be needed.

During the boat tour, the guide entertains with some casual Aussie jokes while providing a good bit of history and local heritage information as well as informing guests about the flora and fauna of the area. We enjoyed seeing the rare black-flanked wallabies, osprey, fruit bats and other bird and fish species along with viewing outstanding geology and scenery throughout.

Overall, this was a fun 1 hour boat trip with plenty of good photo opportunities. Would gladly sign up to do the trip again if we are able to visit the national park again in the future.

We had a wonderful boat trip and local history talk with Peter. He is very friendly and welcoming and was able bring the area to life with his talk and folder on the history of the region including the US base and the Americans. We saw the 2 pairs of nesting ospreys and the many black flanked rock wallabies. A great way to spend an hour in a beautiful location.

An excellent way to see a gorge in the Cape Range Nat Park. The colours of the rocks are stunning. The birdlife was abundant, small black footed wallabies huddling in the rocks and a fab narrative given by our tour guide/boat man. A little bit of history. A bit of banter. And the drive down along the Ningaloo coast to get there was spectacular.

I thoroughly enjoyed my boat cruise on Yardie Creek. The guide was extremely educational, having lived in the region for most of his life. His knowledge and history lesson about the region was extremely interesting. He was also good with the kids on board, so it's something a family could do. Yardie Creek Gorge was stunning, and we saw lots of wildlife. I highly recommend this trip if you are in Exmouth or travelling along the Coral Coast of Western Australia.

Absolutely amazing tour! Thank you to Ash who was not only hilarious and informative, but he was also so accommodating to our young kids. He learnt their names upon boarding and had them doing counting games and even pretending to drive the boat! The amount of wildlife on the creek was really astounding! Highly recommend this tour. Thanks again Ash!

Mikhael was very passionate about the area and what he does so it makes for a great tour. We got a lot of information about the area and he had many fun stories to tell. We saw several osprey perched in the rocks and many of the timid black flanked rock wallabies watching us they blend into the rocks and Mikhael pointed them out. There were many flocks of bright green budgerigars and zebra finches and also fruit bats. Mikhaels wife had made a very informative book about the history of the area. It was a great tour that everyone enjoyed

A great trip in a beautiful spot and well worth the drive from exmouth.

The guide was a great mix of relaxed, funny and informative and pitched just right to keep all of kids and adults happy.

A very scenic spot with lots of wildlife to see with cute rock wallabies and ospreys the highlights.

The hour flew by. Can fully recommend it. Pair it with a snorkelling trip to one of the national park beaches for a great day out

Even in the absolute pouring rain our tour guide made this trip great for all of us.He shared all the history of the creek and the surrounding cliffs and creatures such as Ospreys and rock wallabies.
This tour is well worth the drive out from Exmouth or take your van and camp nearby in an untouched area full of fossiled coral in the rocks. You will see these if you walk the trail after viewing the stunning cliff faces from the Yardie Creek Boat.So happy we did this trip. Highly recommend this tour!
