Geographe Bay is sheltered by Cape Naturaliste, which protects it from the worst winds. The bay is usually quite placid. It is also quite shallow,. The Busselton Jetty iis the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. It is around 2 km long (over a mile). You can get the train to the end, you don't have to walk.

Went for a stroll by its coastline one fine morning and it was beautiful. The scenery was peaceful and serene. It's a nice place to just sit back relax or even meditate. It is easily accessible with car parks, picnic and playground areas nearby

Beautiful beaches in the Geographe bay... the air and the feel here, nothing like a beautiful beach to brighten your day.

Very tranquil as it's protected and great for families. Take a picnic and have it on the foreshore - it's sublime.

Geographe Bay is really just a body of water with no discerning features. Well, none that I really saw. I've seen more picturesque bays and bodies of water elsewhere. Wanted to give it a higher rating, but it just wasn't there for me.

Geographe Bay is a broad sweep of coastline that runs from Cape Naturaliste to Bunbury, taking in Busselton and Dunsborough. It's a sheltered area of water, as it it sheltered by Cape Naturaliste. It's a favourite place for boating as the water is placid. Whale watching is also popular. The beaches along Geographe Bay are good for youngsters, as the... More

A really attractive piece of beachfront, it is also shallow and safe for kids. I even saw people and dogs playing cricket on a sandbar 20m out from shore. Lots of BBqs and other amenities around, even a couple of boat ramps.

We had just arrived from the Walpole/Nornalup coastline. Peaceful Bay and Conspicuous Cliffs to be precise. We could not get over how calm and serene the beach was. "Not a ripple!". Was my wife's comment. After getting sand blasted two days ago, it was very pleasant sitting quietly and experiencing the serene scene.

Popular beach with good access and little or no surf when we were there. Quite a few different car parking areas and a great cycle path along whole of Geographer Bay between Dunsborough and Busselton.
