A large brewery with a fantastic view looking out over the green paddocks. Sadly we only had time for one beer here and some dessert as it could be a nice place to relax for a couple of hours with friends.

We truly enjoyed the place. Outdoor area with wild kangaroos in the background. Sand pitch for kids. Basket of toys for kids. A great tasting plate of various craft beers! Great time spent here.

We were told the drive into and out of Eagle Bay is worth it and it was. So we stop for a beer & coffee. It is a great spot with big glass doors looking over great gardens.

Exactly as my title suggests, this is a wonderful place for a drink. However we have now eaten there three times and remain very underwhelmed by the food. $28 for the extremely ordinary fish and chips (small, tasteless, tiny bit of lettuce, run of the...More

Perth and Margaret River Trip Advice Required (4 Replies)
hi there, i tried to piece my plan base on other thread in this forum and hope you guys can give me some feedback where possible. We are a family of 3 with a 8 year old kid and planning to get a rental car for trip out of Perth to Margaret river and while in Perth rely on public transport. For Day 1 - 3 I am thinking of staying in Freemantle maybe something below AUD 200 per night with a small kitchen available will be great. Is this a realistic budget ? Margaret River Easter weekend? (8 Replies)
Hello, My partner and I will be staying in Margaret River from 3 - 6 April and am wondering what we can do in this time. We are early 20's. Are attractions open over the Easter weekend? We booked this long as accommodation would only allow us 3 nights or more due to Easter. We are attending the John Farnham concert at Sandalford Winery on the 4th. We don't mind driving and some ideas we have are Ngilgi cave Eagle Bay Brewery Wonky Windmill Farm (loved it last time) Amazen...More

With more of a focus on natural attractions (and free), don't forget about beaches - Geographe Bay, Bunker Bay, Yallingup Beach, Injidup Beach, Gracetown, Surfers Point Prevelly, Hamelin Bay - all great photo opportunities. Also the boardwalk over the ocean at Canal Rocks. The famous walk through the Karri forest at Boranup.
