Hot coffee on stormy day

Wind and rain was heavy and stormy so we couldn't go for the walk. Done it before and it was great then. The little Cafe made some nice hot coffee and we're very friendly.

When on a guided tour up the light house we were very lucky to have our tour guide all to ourselves, our tour guide dillon ( unsure of spelling) was amazing and informative (and easy on the eyes😉) and we got to spend plenty of time at the top taking in the breathtaking views and take a couple of photos.

Our tour guide for the lighthouse was really attentive and gave good history and information about the guide house. View was fantastic!

The Cape Naturaliste Light House is not as tall as the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse to the south, but is is interesting none the less. Apart from the l;lighthouse itself, which visitors can climb, there are a number of bush-walks for those who want to get in touch with nature. You can also get a good lookout over Geographe Bay. There's... More

Scenic drive to the Little Light House from Dunsborough Cape Naturalist light house is a much smaller light house and attraction than Cape Leeuwin's larger light house, which we much preferred as a total 'attraction experience' Small gift shop sold usual light house souvenirs, hot and cold drinks, ice lollies - basic items On hand friendly & knowledgeable staff. Payable... More

This is an unmissable national treasure - definitely worth going to see. Have a walk around, but if you go in winter take a scarf and a jacket (you'll need it for any outings during these months) and have a good walk around. Great simple history lesson for the young ones.

Being an adventurer, I opted to personally walk the trail (Cape Naturaliste Loop 3.8 km) which is free of charge. Upon reaching a place that looks like a cape - thus the name - one can vividly see the vast blue Indian Ocean. The view was spectacular. Unfortunately, I came not in the right time to view the whales which... More

A great drive in on a cold and rainy day. Wind blowing and parkas on we ventured forward towards the lighthouse. Obviously improvements happening as areas were roped off and signs saying keep out of this area. The lighthouse was closed. Hopefully it will soon be more welcoming and engaging.

We visited with the aim of paying for the guided tour. Due to it being busy, we decided to walk to the base of the lighthouse whilst waiting for the next tour. Disappointingly, we were unable to see much of a view from the base of the lighthouse. We also decided that $14 per person to go up the lighthouse... More

Arrived about ten minutes before the tour started and we were the only people on the tour. Quite a steep hill to get up before you actually get to the Lighthouse itself but well worth the effort. Our tour gude was very knowledgable and gave us a complete rundown of the history of the Lighthouse. She even told us of... More
