There are a number of attractions/activities here. We stayed for 5 days in Denham and other than the caravan park full of long term grumpies we enjoyed the area.

Had some pier works going on, will be good when it's done. The people were very friendly? Lots of advice on how and where to fish. Just a bit blowy today. I read a book (from a local shop) which told some of the history - very curious that couldn't find the items listed in the book. For instance, the... More

We are half way through our 4 week stay here in Denham, Shark bay, and I honestly wish we had booked for longer. As usual, most of our time is spent fishing off Eagle Bluff or Crabbing at Monkey Mia with a bit of 4WDing around the place in between. I love it here-it's just big enough to have everything... Driving along the road to shark bay is like driving on a wildlife highway. Watch out for emus, kangaroos, echidnas on the road at all times of the day. This area has stunning beaches, lots of 4wd tracks so you can drive straight to the beach if your choice and you'll probably have it all to yourself. Great fishing, beautiful... More

From The roads driving in from Billabong Roadhouse to the lush land around, to the stops at Shell Beach and Little Lagoon, to the quaint quiet town (it's winter so...) of Denham to the amazing dolphin feeding at Monkey Mia... Definitely worth spending some days here. It's beautiful and remote in the best ways possible.

We were told at the Information Centre in Denham to arrive at Monkey Mia by 7.45am. It turns out that this is the busiest of the 3 dolphin feedings. The first feeding is at 8am, the majority of the tourists leave after the first feed. If you wait around, they will feed the dolphins 2 more times, and the crowds... More
