Althought the drive was a little daunting at times on the sand (do reduce your PSI), I am so glad we visited as the beaches and views were stunning. We saw dolphins, whales, rays and the amazing dugong. Didn't camp herebut I wish we had.

My husband and I swagged her for 2 nights When we first started the trip into the national park it was advised to let the air pressed from the tyres. I don't think this is needed IF you have decent all terrain tyres as some of the track is quiet compacted and reduces the travelling speed. We camped at gregories,... More

We did a drive in our 4x4 through Francois Peron National Park a few weeks ago and it was good, not stellar but good. Some nice views, glad we had the 4x4, Gregories beach is nice and we saw lots of animals in and out of the water which was neat. The drive out to Monkey Mia Beach is good... More

If you have a 4wd you need to allow a day to visit this place, pick a sunny clear day for the best viewing and photos. go early so you're there while the sun is overhead. Great camping locations with gas BBQ's and toilets, snorkelling, fishing, beach walking get on the beach and go around the corner at Cape Peron)... More

The lookouts are not impressive, the sea bottom is inconsistent, the village of Denham is isolated and with poor attractions. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. But I am sure that if you enjoy places like Kalbarri National Park, Nambung National Park and the Ningaloo (Coral Bay and Cape Range National Park), the Francois Peron National Park couldn’t... I have been there a few times in the past years and it is always beautiful to go there again. Nature and ocean are wonderful, a meeting point for them, and you can see kangaroos, wallabys, etc inland, and dolphins, sharks, turtles, dugongs from on top of the lookouts... great transparent waters... love it!

Having read a review which likened this park to the Galapagos, we booked a trip as a birthday treat for me. We have been to the Galapagos and there was no comparison. We saw one kangaroo, some Emus and a few sea birds. We spent a long time bouncing about in a land rover and had a nice lunch. The... More

Red sand, even at the beach. Turqoise, clean water. Dolphins, sharks, dugong, echidna, of course kangaroos and perhaps thorny devil.
