We enjoyed the wine tasting although it was a cold day and it could have done with some heating. It is attached to a lovely home, beautiful garden and very pleasant view.

We recently did a Girls trip to Bridgetown and enjoyed the beautiful, charismatic gardens at Sunnyhurst Winery - the owners are friendly and welcoming 🌷🍷🌷 If you are visiting this unique town, definitely a “must do” place to check out & purchase a bottle of “local wine” to enjoy in front of the crackling fire place! We will be back in town for the next Garden Fest! 🌸🧡🌷🧡🌸

This small, boutique winery belies its size with a limited, but excellent selection of wines (Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot Petit Verdot, Ruby Port and a White Port). The winemaker, Marie-Pierre Dessault, who is also the owner, graces the tasting room (cellar door) with her knowledge and friendly conversation. Located just a few minutes from downtown Bridgetown, the winery has beautiful gardens and a massive 120-year old Moreton Bay fig tree. Well worth the short detour from downtown Bridgetown.

My partner and I loved Sunnyhurst. Whilst waiting for the couple in front of us to finish their wine tasting we were offered to take a stroll around the beautiful garden overlooking their vineyards. The wines are simply amazing, a favourite still hasn't been chosen, it's just too hard. We will definitely be back for more and are looking forward to the wine we purchased. We enjoyed getting to know Marie-Pierre and look forward to our return, thank you!
